The much-anticipated IPL 2025 schedule has been officially announced, promising thrilling cricket action from March 22 to May 25. The league stage will feature 74 matches across 65 days, with marquee teams like Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians (MI), and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) competing twice during the league phase.
Key Highlights of IPL 2025 Schedule
Opening Match: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at Eden Gardens on March 22.
CSK's First Match: Chennai Super Kings will kick off their campaign against Mumbai Indians on March 23 in Chennai.
Total Matches: 74 games, including 12 double-headers.
Final Match: May 25 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Chennai Super Kings Key Matches
CSK vs MI: March 23 (Chennai) and April 20 (Mumbai). MI captain Hardik Pandya will miss the first match due to a one-match ban.
CSK vs RCB: March 28 (Chennai) and May 3 (Bengaluru).
IPL 2025 Group Division
Group 1: KKR, RCB, RR, CSK, PBKS
Group 2: SRH, DC, GT, MI, LSG
Each team will play 14 league matches—twice against group teams and one seeded team from the opposite group.
